Located in the largest fiber chemistry park in Europe, MainTech supports its customers throughout the entire project process, from conceptual design to completion and subsequent maintenance of the plants. MainTech’s plants are used, among other things, in the production of special fibers (e.g. for the filtration of blood or gases) and solvent recycling (adsorption).
The former owner, Mainsite GmbH & Co. KG, implemented a change in strategy and focused purely on operating the industrial park, including its power plant. The consequence was the divestment of the operating company.
Strategically and as a former industrial park-owned maintenance company, there was a significant dependency on customers from the medical technology, energy and automotive sectors located in the industrial park at the time of the acquisition. The main goal of our concept is to generate revenue and projects outside the industrial park and thus reduce dependence on the site.
