Transaction & Strategy

The acquisition of Preteq CNC Solutions AG creates an independent platform for establishing a buy-and-build group in the field of precision machining. As part of its strategic refocusing, the seller Ypsomed is concentrating consistently on its core business of medical technology and divesting non-core manufacturing activities.

Under new ownership, Preteq will be clearly positioned as an independent entity in organisational, technological and commercial terms. Existing group dependencies will be dissolved, and structures and systems will be specifically geared towards growth and scalability.

Preteq forms the operational and strategic core of the future machining platform. On this basis, a structured buy-and-build approach is being pursued to systematically expand technological expertise, capacities and market presence and realise industrial economies of scale.
