Globus Gummiwerke GmbH

As a long-standing subsidiary of the Poppe-Veritas Group, Globus Gummiwerke had been deeply integrated into the parent company’s organizational structures. Management services were provided by the group, while Globus itself had only limited internal management capacity. During the relocation of operations from Gießen to Ahrensbök, significant production and delivery issues arose.

Through an intensive and complex carve-out process, independent business structures were implemented to replace the services previously provided by the parent company. The subsequent multi-year restructuring covered the entire value chain. Procurement processes were optimized by transitioning from single-sourcing to multi-sourcing, while a newly established sales team enabled the company to enter new market segments. Internal process improvements and investments in automation were also implemented. Today, the restructuring has been successfully completed, and Globus is positioned for sustainable growth.
