As part of a strategic realignment, finova was identified as a non-core activity within the Mendritzki Group. In order to withdraw from the series production of small components, the seller decided to divest 100% of its shares. The transaction was characterized by the shared commitment of both parties to enable a successful restructuring of the company.
Due to a combination of internal and external factors, such as the ongoing challenges in the automotive industry, finova had come under increasing pressure in recent years. A key element of the strategic realignment is the strengthening of sales initiatives, particularly in markets beyond the automotive sector.
